An Illusion Of

A book I set out to draft in 24 hours. It took a little longer. 27 reflective essays on the things we hold on to, each arriving at the same place: it is an illusion.

The premise

A whole book in a day. That was the plan.

How it began

On 19 August 2024, I set myself a challenge for the sheer rush of it: draft a whole book in a day. The day ran out first. The book kept going, and it is now 27 essays deep. In my defence, one of them proves time is an illusion.

How it reads

Each chapter starts from a dictionary definition, moves through personal stories and honest questions, and lands on one line: this, too, is an illusion.
