The story in four moves

Client inputMy work
  1. Client input · 01 They came with

A fair business model: a low commission for drivers, an electric fleet and a path for drivers to own their cars. The model was ready. The brand to make it legible was still open.

  2. 02 I found

People dislike travel time when nobody manages it. Manage it, design the space inside the car, and the ride becomes time worth paying for. The car already works as a private room for most Indians.

  3. 03 I built

The positioning and a category to own, the brand heart, the identity brief, the Communication OS, the AI voice libraries and the launch plan. I led the team of designers and writers who built it.

  4. 04 It changed

Hyerr launches as the designed journey, with its fairness to drivers reading as part of the experience, and one system ready for every city it enters next.

My part

I formulated the positioning and led the team that designed the brand. The business model was Hyerr’s; making it mean something to riders was my job.

Four findings turned a cab ride into a product worth designing.

I built the Rider and Driver Behaviour Lens: peak-hour psychology, platform switching and commission fatigue on one side, long drives versus short trips and travel songs across generations on the other. Driver culture changes region by region. Each finding became a design rule.

02Brand HeartLed

The belief: travel time has value once someone designs it.

I ran the founder conversations and wrote the belief the brand stands on. The vision followed, to become the operating system for how people experience transit, and so did the signature line, “We design how movement feels.”

03Brand PromiseLed

A category of one, built on what Hyerr already had.

Hyerr arrived with a low-commission model and a driver-to-owner path. I turned that structure into a promise riders feel: a designed journey, held up by four pillars, continuity, environment design, the driver ownership model and EV-first infrastructure.

04Brand StoryLed

One voice for every touchpoint, from app alert to billboard.

I wrote the Communication Operating System: four tone modes, Smooth, Warm, Alert and Composed Authority, with worked Do and Avoid examples so anyone on the team arrives at the same answer.

05Visual Identity DirectionShaped

An identity that looks endless, because the journey is the brand.

I set the brief: continuity, and a system that travels across any Indian region. The team designed a monochrome purple identity, the H mark with a journey-path crossbar and a destination node, the Gillune typeface, the Crossroads icon set and the vehicle livery.

06Consumer ExperienceShaped

Every ride moment mapped for rider calm and driver dignity.

I mapped the ride end to end and wrote the sentiment lexicon and microcopy the product team works from.

07Purchase MomentSupported

A managed journey is worth paying for.

I framed the commercial logic behind premium pricing: designed travel time turns a commodity ride into a reason to come back.

08Brand CultureLed

The same rules train the drivers and the machines.

I built driver-dignity collateral, “My Hyerr Calling”, and wrote the brand’s voice into the libraries its AI features learn from, ready for Hindi and Gujarati before the first ride.

09Strategy and OperationsLed

A playbook built once, so every new city opens faster.

I wrote the scalable launch playbook and the Instagram-first pre-launch plan, built to grow an audience before beta, opening on the line “Drive so good, you find another excuse.”
